Covid 19 Policy
We have put the following procedures in place to safeguard the health of both practitioners and patients, some of whom may fall into vulnerable categories. Considering the close contact nature of our work, we have tried to balance the risks posed to staff against the patients interests in receiving treatment. We thank you for your help with this.
PLEASE DO NOT attend the clinic:
A. If you have tested positive for Covid-19.
B. If you have any COVID related symptoms (even if you believe them to be caused by something else e.g., a cold, allergies, hay fever etc). Please call to rearrange your appointment once you have finished self-isolating.
C. If a member of your household has tested positive for COVID or you are identified as a close contact of someone with COVID (regardless of vaccination status)
There is currently no cancellation fee for late cancellation of appointments
- Please attend your appointment alone. If you need to bring a chaperone or translator, please let us know in advance, so we can accommodate this.
- We have increased spacing between appointments, in order to make sure there is sufficient time to vent the room and clean down between patients. We kindly ask that our patients arrive on time rather than early now.
- Patients are asked to wear a mask for their appointment. We are now providing all patients with a surgical mask (type IIR) which we will require to wear during their appointment. These are medical grade and serve to ensure safety for both patient and practitioner. If you are mask exempt, please let us know, we will initially offer you a telephone/virtual appointment and may be able offer you a face to face appointment at the end of the day. This is offered in order to reduce the risk of transmission.
- Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival
- We are trying to maintain good ventilation and so the windows and doors are often open and fully opened between each patient. This means the clinic may be a bit colder than normal. Please bring warm clothing just in case.
